Summary

Expanding global index inclusion has made a huge impact on China equities. More China index funds and ETFs are emerging with the aim of institutionalising the stock market. Can this trend indicate that active investment is losing its lustre in emerging and fast recovering China? What are the current fund flows while markets are embracing the new pathway to globalisation?

In this webinar, together with Xiaoxiang Chen, the cross-border CIO and an award-winning manager of China Universal AM, and Carmen González-Calatayud, the Head of ETF Capability of HSBC Global Asset Management, InvesTAO invites you to discuss:

  • Current landscape of active strategies in China
  • Development and outlook of passive equity strategies in China

What’s the best way to capture sustainable Alpha in China going forward?
