Alderman William Russell
The Rt. Hon. Lord Mayor of the City of London
Alderman William Russell took office as the 692nd Lord Mayor of the City of London on 8th November 2019. He served as a Sheriff of the City of London in 2016-17 and, in that capacity, supported the then Lord Mayor, undertaking numerous visits and official functions. On 30th September 2020 William was elected to serve a further year in office, to provide continuity of civic governance during the Coronavirus emergency. His mayoral theme for his time in office is “Global UK – The New Future”, supporting businesses through the COVID19 crisis, speeding the recovery and seizing the opportunities of the new future.
William has over thirty years’ experience in the financial and business City including holding senior positions in the national and international Banking sector.

Shelley Yang, CFA
Co-founder and CEO of InvesTAO
With more than 20 years leading cross-border business for Chinese asset managers, Shelley Yang founded InvesTAO in 2018 after her departure as CEO of Haitong Capital. Previously, she served as senior positions in Haitong Bank, China Universal AM and Guotai AM. She is also a Member of the ICI Global APAC committee.
Ms Yang holds an MBA from California State Poly University, and is an Alumni of Harvard Business School PLD program.
Aanand Venkatramanan, Ph.D.
Head of ETF Investment Strategies, Legal and General Investment Management
Aanand currently works at LGIM within the Exchange Traded Funds team that was acquired from ETF Securities in March 2018. He joined ETF Securities as a Director, Quantitative Investment Strategies in May 2017. Prior to that, he worked at Barclays Capital and Goldman Sachs International as a vice president within their index research and structuring groups respectively; and at the University of Sussex as an assistant professor in Finance. He has published papers in top academic journals and co-authored book chapters.
Aanand holds a PhD in Mathematical Finance and Master’s in Applied Mathematics from the University of Reading.
Katherine Han, CFA, FRM
Head of ESG Research, Harvest Fund Management
Katherine spearheads the group’s ESG integration program throughout investment processes, establishing Harvest’s proprietary ESG framework and database and managing Harvest’s stewardship program and engagement initiatives with investee companies. Prior to Harvest, Katherine was a senior analyst with MSCI ESG Research for eight years, where she led the global technology sector research and was a member of APAC ESG methodology committee. Her prior roles also include governance analyst with ISS and multi-asset class data analyst at MSCI Barra.
She holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Renmin University of China and a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Engineering from Beihang University.
