InvesTAO’s China Field Study is an exclusive trip tailored for European asset owners and managers, who currently have exposure to Asian/Chinese assets, and/or are re-considering their wider China strategy. As China heralds a more policy-direct phase, the relatively market-led growth model that saw China embark on a rapid development phase 20 years ago is slowly subsiding. This transition and the new phase require a new understanding of an already complex country.
This trip is designed to help address some of these challenges. Through meeting with specialists who have insights into Chinese policies, one-on-one dialogues with Chinese company CEOs and senior executives, manufacturers and the free-trade zone which reflects China’s future growth, investors will gain an authentic understanding of China’s current transition phase and apply that knowledge in their wider analysis for that region.
Key Objectives:
Will sustainability and consumption diversification ignite China’s next phase of growth? Explore trends, innovations, and opportunities by visiting Southern China, where China’s traditional supply chain capability concentrates and the next generation of technology is developed.
Gain a comprehensive understanding of the latest Chinese government policies and regulatory updates. Engage in discussions with industry experts and analysts for invaluable insights into the strategic direction of China’s wider policies.
Connect with company CEOs and senior executives through personalized one-on-one meetings with (a target of 10) Chinese corporates, stock exchange representatives, and other industry peers. Onsite insights will prove invaluable to help navigate the nuances of China’s dynamic market.
Field visits to frontline manufacturers in technology especially green tech, as well as the new pilot scheme of the Free-trade Zone. Witness the innovation, efficiency, and scale of Chinese industries, gaining practical insights that go beyond traditional business meetings.
